Thank you for your comment Faris, the point is not to establish superiority relationships between languages, or even between development tools, but to share a personal experience on the use of the latter.
Complexity always has a cost, whether in the code or in the development tools.
What I'm trying to say is that reducing the complexity of tools frees up mental space to concentrate on content (the code).
Taking a complex tool and deactivating all the useless functions doesn't necessarily make sense, you might as well take a simpler and probably more efficient tool.
In the end, you simply have to choose the tool you're comfortable with.
